Seeing the general in the particular

Sociological perspective: seeing genaral patterns in the behavior of particular people. To me this means that you normaly live your life how the people around you live or have taught you to live. If they cook food on a stove you will cook on a stove. If they cook by camp fire you also will do the same. You grow to learn what you are taught. If you go elsewhere were they have different customs you will see the strange in the familiar. Meaning that the thing you see are strange to you but normal to the natives. These are the things that they are use to doing in there society. This could be the way they dress, the music they listen to, and the way they cook the food.
